“The B.A. music program at Nazareth is a very flexible degree that allows you to explore all aspects of music by taking elective courses from music business, to music psychology, to even orchestrating/arranging. If you don't know what specific field of music you want to go into, this degree gives you the ability to try out different areas of music and discover new interests while also giving you the requirements you need for a well-rounded music education.
"I will always cherish the multitude of experiences I've had performing with and accompanying so many different music groups: jazz ensembles, orchestra band and choir, percussion, theater, and more. This has given me so much musical growth and passion, and has taught me so much about collaboration."
— Cynthia MacDonald '24, who went on for a master’s degree in piano performance and pedagogy and is a choir accompanist for Brighton and Pittsford school districts
