May Queen

Crowning a May Queen each spring was a Nazareth tradition for many years. The 1961 yearbook declared this queen and her court were poised to 鈥減ay homage to God鈥檚 queen.鈥�

Thanks to many alums who shared information, this May Queen has been identified: Ann Marie Lortscher '60, '67G, who became a Sister of St. Joseph in Rochester, then transferred to the Trappestines in Dubuque, Iowa. The page is David Kunz, and the flower girl is Ann鈥檚 niece Peggy Too
