
At Nazareth, both full-time and adjunct faculty fill our learning spaces with creativity and purpose every day. Open Classroom Week (OCW) is your invitation to experience these exciting approaches firsthand, see what students are learning, and connect across our academic community.
Open Classroom Week welcomesÌýeveryone in the Nazareth community--faculty, staff, administration, and alumni--who want to see what’s happening inside our classrooms.
Volunteer to Open Your Classroom:ÌýShare your teaching by completingÌýa Google formÌýto make your class (or classes) open to guests during the week of October 20–24. The form closes Friday, September 26 at 5:00 p.m.
Choose Your Guests:ÌýThis year, Nazareth faculty, staff, and alumni can sign up to visit your class--and you get to choose who you’d like to invite.
View and Sign Up:ÌýBeginning Monday, October 6, all Open Classrooms will be listed on , where guests can select and register for the classes they wish to visit. Sign-ups remain open until Friday, October 17 at 5:00 p.m. The number of available slots depends on each class’s capacity.
After Sign-Up:ÌýThe Google Sheet will stay viewable so instructors know their guest list. Feel free to share materials or helpful information with your visitors before class.
Open Your Doors:ÌýTeach as usual and welcome your registered guests.
Attend Other Classes:ÌýExplore different teaching styles, subjects, and experiences as a guest in colleagues’ classes.
Share Your Experiences:ÌýTell your story on Facebook, LinkedIn, or Instagram with the hashtag #opennaz.
