Remember the following policies and make sure to read the 鈥溾�� on the School of Music webpage.
- Studio recital performances are reserved for music majors on their primary instrument听only (students registered for MUP 1 only)
- The School of Music provides collaborative pianists for Studio Recitals. The School听funds only the following rehearsal times:
- Vocalists鈥攐ne half hour
- Instrumentalists 鈥� one hour
- Collaborative pianists must receive music by the due date indicated. Collaborative pianists will not be expected to play for students if music is late, and may decline or听charge the student an additional fee.
- Students must contact their assigned collaborative pianist to schedule rehearsals at least two weeks before their studio recital date or any performance. Students are required听to rehearse with their assigned pianist. If a student fails to contact their assigned pianist听two weeks in advance, the pianist reserves the right to decline to perform, or charge the听student an additional fee for last minute rehearsal scheduling.
- Students performing Honors Recitals, Sophomore Qualifying Recitals, and Senior听Recitals are not required to perform on a Studio Recital. Student teachers do not perform听on studio recitals.
- Small Ensembles should participate in the Studio Recital only on a space available听basis.
- All programs must be submitted by the designated faculty coordinator to music听publicity ten working days prior to the recital date.听(music-publicity@naz.edu)
- Studio recitals are not live-streamed. However, a link to the video recording will be sent to your applied studio teachers within 10 days of your recital.
